 1. Shah Rukh Khan.

He has, time and again, proved his worth in the domestic circuit in both the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Vijay Hazare trophy. In the SMAT 2021-22 finals when 5 was required of the last ball he hit a six of Prateek Jain one of the best bowlers in the KA line up winning TN the 3rd trophy. In the IPL his SR is around 135 but he has not played many games to prove his worth for KXIP. This year CSK has a good option of picking him and playing him with Jadeja which would be an added advantage.

2. Sai Kishore.

Having already been in the CSK squad he knows what it means to play for CSK. But this year he would go into the auction pool and might even become a crorepati with his recent performances. In the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy he hit a 50 against the mighty Karnataka batting at no3 in seaming conditions.

He has largely improved himself in batting. When it comes to his bowling he has always remained economical and has taken crucial wickets both in the PP and middle overs. With CSK playing their home matches in Chepauk he will come in handy in the home matches.

3. Silambarasan.

He has had good two seasons for TN in the white-ball formats picking up wickets in the PP. Having a slingy action makes him a variety in fast bowling options who can deceive the batters with his pace. His slower ones have been quite deceptive as that of Malinga but have to improve his death bowling. With CSK, not any fast bowlers they have an option of going with this local lad and grooming him under MSD.

4. M.Mohammed.

Having loads of experience he can be a player to watch out for in the auctions. He is one of those utility players who bowl and bats when the team requires him the most. He has time and again been the go-to man for the TN white-ball team bowling in the death overs and playing a few crucial knocks.

Shah Rukh too had acknowledged the amount of work Mohammed puts in behind the team in the presentation ceremony of the SMAT 2021 finals.
