AB De Villiers has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket making an end to franchise cricket and most importantly Virat - ABD combo in IPL. His career has spanned for more than 14 years starting in Int cricket debuting in 2004 and hanging up his boots in 2018.
Few ABD Special's
Who can forget the fastest 100 he scored against WI at Johannesburg in 2015. This was arguably one of the greatest innings of all time breaking the record of Corey Anderson for the fastest 100. With only 12 overs left Miller was ideal to bat next but AB Devilliers was sent in and the rest is history.
In the same year in 50 overs WC he broke the record of fastest 150 thereby having the record of fastest 50, 100 and 150 that too breaking them in the same year. Of the 80 runs, SA scored in the last 4 overs ABD alone hit 68 of them finishing with 162(66).
