There are few teams who look to play spoilsport in the WT20 qualifiers starting today. With the advent of T20 cricket nothing can be predicted before hand or the match result itself. This statement accounts to only the shortest format from my point of view. This makes the World Cup even more interesting with 8 teams lined up to make it to super 12.

Which associate team could surprise and make it to super12 ?
Netherlands.
This team looks like a strong contender to qualify with both experience and depth that this team has. They have the likes of all-rounder Ackerman and Van der Merwe coming in with loads of experience playing the English Vitality Blast. These would be very vital to get off for other teams with both bowling spin with the pitch too assisting them.
Ten Doeschate would like to retire on a high after his illustrious career spanning more than 20 years with loads of experience from playing the IPL to other global leagues. His medium pace along with the cutters would make him handy along with his batting. He has the highest batting average in ODI's.
Scotland.
They have been in the International arena for quite some time now. This would be a good platform for them to show how good a team they are. With the likes of Coetzer and Berrington in the team for the last 10 years, they have good experience which could be the crucial factor to decide the qualifier.
Sharif, Wheal, and Davey have been performing consistently in the English championship which could give them good game time going ahead. From all the associate nations they have loads of experience and should give a good fight.
Namibia
Not many would have been familiar with this team who have been making roads for more than 2 years since the Qualifiers held in UAE in 2019. With the likes of David Wiese in the team, the team looks vulnerable making few surprises. This T20 WC can give them good experience going forward as there is one more WC lined up next year in Australia. So this can add experience which would pay off in the coming years.
