Changes India can make going into WT20

With around 10 days left for World Cup to begin Indian selectors have few days left to make necessary changes to the squad. So what can be the possible changes that the selectors would want to make?

All-rounder spot.

With Hardik Pandya not bowling the selectors would have a look at what could be done to this spot. The only reason for selecting Hardik is that he is a fast-bowling all-rounder who has a good wicket-taking ability and is a finisher. India is going in with only 3 premium pace bowlers with only 2 of them making it to playing XI.

Changes to be made by Indian womens team ahead of 50 overs WC in NZ.

So Hardik would have to take responsibility for bowling at least 2 overs which doesn't seem possible now. The only player to make up this is Shardul Thakur who is in form of his life with both bat and bowl and has loads of experience.

Leg Spinner spot.

With Rahul Chahar being dropped due to injury or form concerns by India’s VC it seems possible for Yuzvendra Chahal to take up his spot. Chahal has been at his best in the 2nd leg of IPL taking 2 wickets every match and not going for many as well. He has even varied his pace as well which the selectors wanted. Replacing Chahal for Chahar would be the ideal replacement.

Apart from these two changes, many might think of Ishan Kishan and Surya Kumar Yadav to be replaced but they have had a consistent run for more than 1 year and a bad patch of 4 matches shouldn't make selector swap them for others. Shreyas Iyer would be the unluckiest among many due to injury else he would have been automatic selection.
